International Scholarship - Liverpool Hope University

Liverpool Hope University is committed to encouraging applications from students with high academic qualifications who will benefit from study in the UK.

Liverpool Hope University is pleased to announce a new scheme of International scholarships for students applying for an undergraduate or postgraduate programme in the academic year 2008/2009.

Overseas Scholarship
The Overseas Scholarships are availble to both undergraduate and postgraduate applicants and are worth £1,000. The number of Overseas Scholarships available are unlimited. They are awarded on a criteria based on academic merit and submitted application;

Criteria to apply:

Undergraduate Applicants: Applications are welcome from International students who have achieved, in aggregate, first class marks in their higher secondary education. If successful, the student will receive the £1,000 award each year, subject to satisfactory academic progress.

Postgraduate Applicants: Applications are welcome from International students who have achieved first class results in their final degree classification.

Overseas Scholarships are deducted from the standard tuition fee and student will be invoiced for the net tuition fee due.

International Postgraduate Scholarship

International Postgraduate Scholarships are available to postgraduate taught applicants and are worth half the tuition fees. The number of International Postgraduate Scholarships available are five, and they are awarded by the decision of the University Committe based on academic merit and the submitted application.

Criteria to apply: Applications are welcome from International students who have achieved first class results in their final degree classification and can demonstrate high academic achievement.

Please note:
* The Overseas Scholarship and the International Postgraduate Scholarship are only available to applicants paying full international tuition fees; citizens of the UK, EU and EEA are not eligible to apply
* Applicants must submit an International Scholarship Application Form to the International Office. The application form should be accompanied by an validated transcript and academic reference.
* Application deadlines apply:
For September entry: Scholarship applications must be received by 30th June 2008
For January entry: Scholarship applications must be received by 28th November 2008

Early Payment Discount
If you pay your tuition fees before the stated dates you will receive an early payment discount. This gives you a substantial discount from your fees
For September 2008 entry Pay full tuition fees before 1st September 2008 10 % discount
Pay full tuition fees before 22nd September 2008 5 % discount

For January 2009 entry Pay full tuition fees before 15th December 2008 10 % discount
Pay full tuition fees before 9th January 2009 5 % discount
